As someone who already use Balolo products, I have to say they preserve the quality on all the products I´ve tried. In this case, the desktmat is made from genuine wool and in Germany, something I really appreciate and that I take into account a lot when buying quality products. The thickness of the deskmat is excellent, so is its aesthetics, making it the centerpiece of your desk setup.
Nonetheless, based from my experience with it so far, I might prefer a leather deskmat over the wool one, it´s just my preference, don´t get me wrong. The mouse glides pretty well but the reason why I prefer a leather mousepad is simply because of its softness when touching it. But it´s not Balolo´s fault, simply each one has a different taste, the quality on this deskmat is quite high.
The only complaint I have with it is the base. The latex dots seem to work okay, but maybe there´s a material with more grip such as cork or others or perhaps there aren´t enough latex dots from my perspective.

I just received the well-wrapped package and immediately noticed Balolo’s attention to detail. From the packaging alone, I can tell how much they care about their customers—it’s both elegant and enthusiastic!
I love the way this felt pad feels under my hands as I type and use the mouse. It really feels cozy even as I work for hours on end. I also love the elegant design that coheres beautifully with the rest of the Balolo products. (Hint: Get the large if you have the space…it’s worth it!)

This desk mat is the perfect size for my needs. The material has a good thickness to it, giving it a premium look and feel. It complements my black desk beautifully.
